Bo Derek is featured in Marchon Campaign

Captivating beauty Bo Derek, star of film and television, made a much-anticipated appearance at the Marchon booth at Vision Expo East 2003. The actress/model, recently completed a book tour for her compelling memoir Riding Lessons: Everything that Matters in Life I Learned from Horses, will be modeling Marchon Eyewear as she signs autographs for attendees.

Ms. Derek began her career as a model, but quickly made a transition into acting. She made her film debut in Orca opposite Richard Harris and then burst onto the Hollywood scene as the “Perfect Fantasy Woman” in the Blake Edwards comedy 10. Ms. Derek withdrew from the Hollywood scene in the mid-80’s to pursue personal interests, gracing several films, including the successful Tommy Boy.

She recently resumed her career following the passing of her husband, John Derek, hosting American Movie Classics’ original series The Hollywood Fashion Machine and making memorable appearances on The Drew Carey Show and Family Law. Upcoming for Ms. Derek is the Warner Brothers’ feature Malibu’s Most Wanted, in which she stars opposite Jamie Kennedy as well as a recurring role on the WB’s highest-rated drama 7th Heaven.

Ms. Derek, who was recently featured in People Magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People” issue, will also be featured in upcoming Marchon counter cards and trade ads.
